on north hwy 48. Sighted a very large cylinder shaped object about 65-75 feet in length, about 25 feet in diameter, stationary in the air about 500 feet high. It was white with two orange stripes close to either end. It stayed stationary for about 1 minute then began to slowly move off to the north at which time I ran into my home to grab a camera. This took maybe 10 seconds. When I came back out
I spotted the object several thousand feet north and perhaps a thousand feet higher than it's first positon and watched as it began to move VERY quicky northward. By the time I got the camera focused, it was a mere dot in the north sky .  Jim

In the first week of October, 2008, I was viewing a Sky 9 beach cam posted at the top of the Tradewinds Resort on St. Pete Beach (I was seeing the cam on the web) and I caught a ufo coming out of the clouds, swooping toward the water of the Gulf and right in front of people on the beach. The ufo, a small grey disc shaped object, emitted what looked like steam right before it skimmed the water, then it took off to the south. I have several still shots from the incident but I was not able to get the entire loop from the live feed, which was only posted that day. I submitted these pictures to nuforc and was told it was a dolphin cause there is lots of dolphin activity there, but this is the first time I have seen a dolphin fly out of a cloud. I also submitted these images to waterufo.net. I will email the images to your site. Cyn

Above picture, you an see the hole left in the cloud, the atmospheric disturbances, and the ufo emitting steam as it approaches the water. This is from a Sky 9 web cam posted atop the Tradewinds Resort on St. Pete Beach. There are at least 6 people on the beach directly in front of the ufo.

Above you can see the steam it emitted and how far it traveled was so fast that I doubt the people directly in front of it even saw it. But who knows?

Here, it looks like its just sitting, but its really moving fast...this picture should be the second one in the collection but I have it out of order here.

What I find so incredible is how close this thing came to the people on the beach, and how when I reported it to nuforc, mr. davenport was pretty close minded about it, determining that it was simply a dolphin, and I suggest you read the report on nuforc. I have decided not to report to nuforc again. I have reported 3 sightings there over the past 10 years, and I would not report a dolphin sighting because I am not that stupid. Thanks...Cyn

 In June 2008, we were sitting out on our front porch. My sister and I saw a large orange unidentified flying object shaped like a chevron. It was the size of a baseball if held at arms length, we think it was at about 150 feet in the air moving south and we were facing east, on St. Pete Beach, in Florida. The thing appeared to have flames dripping off the bottom of it. I suggested that it was a chinese lantern. It made no sound. It moved slowly. I went to get my camera, and when I put my camera up to my eye to snap a shot, the ufo shot off to the south so fast it looked like a pin point of light. It moved in a second from right near our home to far south of us.
