S.P.O.OK

EVP stands for Electronic Voice Phenomena, meaning voices or sounds NOT heard by the human ear that are captured on tape or on digital recorders and can only be heard after the recording device is played later. In recent times, the term EVP is often being replaced by ITC, meaning Instrumental TransCommunication, a much broader catagory which includes using phones, TV's, and even computers to capture these communications. I invite all visitors to listen to these disembodied voices and sounds with HEADPHONES for clarity.

This one is just plain spooky!  The heavy breath was NOT heard by anyone untill we listened to the recording.

                

  Depends? What do you think? I hear 2 voices.. one feint.. and then an answering one. Reggae? Island accent?

                                                   

 On this one, I hear " Right now! " followed by 2 taps

 

 Best guess is " Save the girl " in what seems to be a singing voice...

                                                     

Another odd one from Cain's Ballroom... " Help Me " in a voice that almost sounds like it's singing it.

Cain's again.. this one was when Meg and Vic were in the lounge with the EMF meter going crazy. I hear  " You are women? "

                                                                              

Cains: " Ya Big Jerk " OR " Your Picture"... you decide.

Interesting voice under the main stage at Cains saying " Here we go again ".

                                              

The question was asked " are you a child? "... we got " Children ".

A scary one here. I hear a distinct "growl "   on this one . Think it's angry?

                                                                                       

Not totally sure.. maybe you can help. What do YOU hear? I think I hear

" She Leave? " and a voice answering " Nah ".

A question was asked ...  did you work here?... A question was returned...

" Why " ?

                                                 

I'm putting this one out for others to interpret. I hear " Yoo Hoo " and a feint voice following. What do YOU hear?

                                                                                            

This one is SO strange, I had to post it !  The question was asked  " what year did you die? ".. this was the answer,  " Still in the world ".. at least I think that's what it says.

 

To the question " How old are you? " we got this answer.. sounds like 

 " eleven " to me...                  

From a local cemetery we captured several interesting EVP's.

This one says " There is no more.... for me ".

                                                                             

This was my first ghost smooch! After the smooch, you'll hear a short sob... as if she tried to give me a kiss and was saddened that I didn't notice.

This one was freaky... something called my name.... " Jim "

                                          

This one was feint, but I hear " Give Up " in it.

                                                                             

From the chimney area behind building #1 at Yale. Something said " HI " .

From building 1, when asked for a name, we got " They forgot my memory"

From Building 2 at Yale we asked " where are you? ". and the reply was

" It's a LIE we're living  "

 

Also from building 1, this sad voice, " I don't want to be dead"!

                                                

In building 2, we placed an EMF detector on the floor and asked spirits there to approach it.

" That's what I think "                        

 

In building 2, we hear " My name 's Mary", between 2 barks from a dog.

       

Again from building 2, " wait for me"

                                                    

Building one at Yale:  " There's a Whole Lotta' Sumpthin' Wrong Here "

                                                                                              

During the investigation in Yale, Beckie said she heard a noise from the corner.. we got : 

 " oopsie..Pardon Me "

          

Sometimes when reviewing an older recording, you find something you missed. In this case, I was reviewing a recording from Post Oak Cemetery recorded last summer, where at first I had not seen anything. But this morning I took another look.. and found " Open Eyes " or " Open Wide"

                                                  

At times, the voices can be confusing or even humorous. This one's a bit of both!

3 voices. 1. " I exist "   2.  " This A**Hole bothering you? "    3. " Nooooo! "

                               

And then there's this " ghostly conversation".. a lot is understandable. The recording was at Post Oak cemetery, in Sand Springs.. there were NO living persons around the recorder. I'd set it on a marker and left the area.

                                                                                                   

Vic did a video at a local cemetery asking any spirits there if they were ok. I caught this on a section I was reviewing. Here's the audio portion of the video.  " We've been happier  "

          

A new find from the Old Jail investigation. Beckie and reporter in the cell area. She hear's a noise. I found this:  " I'm over there ".

                                     

And you have to LOVE this one from the old jail! "  I'm a GOOD ghost! "

While we're considering redoing the EVP sessions because of the large number of people present during the recordings, a few of the originals are definitely spirit voices and I'll post them here.
